While people have been painting, renovating, and waterproofing their properties for thousands and thousands of years, sandblasting is a relatively new technology. It was first patented in the United States of America in the late 19th century. It is a versatile and multi-purpose technique and can be used in very different ways. It is an efficient way to clean objects, it can be used to smoothen rough surfaces, it is an elegant and convenient way to etch or embellish objects with text or images. At Lombard Contractors, we are able to employ sandblasting techniques in whichever way best suits your needs.
What is sandblasting?

Specialising in corrosion control and prevention coating; we begin with an extensive onsite inspection so that the scope of the work can be evaluated and a plan of action can be drawn up. We are in possession of an extensive sandblasting rig and offer industrial and dustless sandblasting to each client’s specific needs.
What we do:
We begin every project we undertake by doing an onsite inspection of the building or property so that the scope of the work can be evaluated and a plan of action can be drawn up.
Sandblasting is a versatile technique, which can be used in many different ways. We are in possession of an extensive sandblasting rig, and able to offer industrial and dustless sandblasting, according to each client’s specific needs.
The most commonly used sandblasting technique is site blasting.
Once the sandblasting job is completed, we conduct a thorough inspection of the site and consult the client to ensure they are entirely satisfied with our work.
